Harold Arauz is a 2013 RHP with a 6-1 174 lb. frame from Ancon Panama City, PAN who attends Escuela Puerto Armuelles. Slender athletic build, good physical projection. Smooth delivery, good hip turn, long loose arm action with good arm speed, some effort at release, high 3/4's. Low 80's fastball, touched 85 mph early, mostly straight. Curveball shows hard sharp break at 70 mph, good feel for locating CB, slider is shorter and flatter at 75 mph but still sharp, nice change up at times, showed better command of off speed than of fastball, some idea how to pitch. Nice young pitching prospect, projects well.
