Hector Antunez is a 2012 RHP/2B, OF with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Mater Academy Charter HS. Smaller athletic frame, room to add some strength. Tall delivery, well paced motion, stays balanced, low 3/4's release point, some deception to delivery. Upper 60's fastball, touched 70 mph, nice tailing action in to right handed hitters, big break on sweeping curveball, keeps the ball down and throws strikes. Line drive swing plane at the plate, spread stance, long rotational swing, looks to pull, finds the barrel. Good student.
