Jared Holloman is a 2012 LHP/1B with a 6-2 224 lb. frame from Morton, IL who attends Morton HS. Big squared shouldered build, good strength. Slow paced leg raise delivery, hands well separated from body, medium deep arm circle, lands closed, pulls head off on release, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball to 83 mph, mostly straight, good downhill angle, short downer curveball, slider shape at 72 mph, rare change up, throws strikes and works around the plate. Rotational left handed swing, likes the ball down and in, early front side, some raw strength and leverage. Good student.
