Austin Eibel is a 2012 MIF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Gig Harbor, WA who attends Gig Harbor HS. Eibel has a slender and athletic build, lean, with room for continued strength gains. Good infield actions with a bounce in his step, moves well laterally and gets himself in good fielding position. Clean fielding backhand in the hole, good weight transfer to make strong throw across the infield. Hands and feet work. Slightly open stance at the plate, good setup. Flat swing through the zone and shows extension, squares the ball up consistently and makes line drive contact to all fields. Very good student.
