Kristopher Mayes is a 2011 LHP/OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Sweetwater, TX who attends Sweetwater HS. Shorter square shouldered build with good present strength. Fast paced high leg raise delivery, quick arm, hides the ball well. Fastball to 81 mph, very good deception, FB looks mid 80's, jumps on hitters, cuts fastball with good effect, heavy when down in the zone. Curveball has good bite and nice 1/7 shape, very good depth at times. Good command, has an idea how to pitch, hitters didn't get good cuts. Good student.
