Evan Engelhardt is a 2013 LHP/1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Westview. Engelhardt has a large frame with a strong projectable build. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. He sticks the ball in back and he has some arm speed. The ball comes out of his hand clean and he pitches downhill well. Engelhardt has more velocity in his arm with a few adjustments. He throws a 12/6 curveball with good shape and spin to it. He also throws a sinking change up at 75 MPH with some cut action to it. Outstanding student.

Evan Engelhardt is a 2013 LHP/1B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Westview HS. Strong build, fairly physically mature for age. Leg tuck delivery, closed lower half is late coming through, deep stabbing arm action, hides ball well. Mid 70's fastball, topped out at 78 mph, mostly straight, settled into good groove and threw fastball strikes, works quickly. Soft curveball spin, short shape, slows arm on change up. Was effective when spotting ball low in the zone. Very good student.
