Josh Leone is a 2012 RHP/OF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Keithville, LA who attends Calvary Baptist Academy. Large athletic build, long arms, good strength potential. Balanced delivery, long arm action with some hook in back, cross body a bit on release, good arm speed, ball comes out clean out front, 3/4s release point with some downhill angle. Steady 86-88 mph fastball, mostly straight with occasional arm side run. Tight spin on slurve type slider with occasional good depth and bite. Works around the plate and has an idea. Aggressive swing at the plate, showed some strength and uses his hands well, line drive swing plane, has some hitting tools. Good student.

Josh Leone is a 2012 RHP/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Keithville, LA who attends Calvary Baptist Academy. Strong athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. Clean on line delivery, some effort at release, compact arm action, quick and loose out front, 3/4's arm slot. Steady upper 80's fastball, stays down in the zone well, mid 70's curveball has hard spin and bite, good 2-plane break. Athletic ability shows in outfield and at the plate. 7.04 runner, good OF actions, throws are accurate with carry. Busy hitting load, aggressive swing, good present bat speed, ball jumps off the barrel, can get long and off balance at times. Two-way prospect but eventual future is on the mound. Good student.
