Taylor Salim is a 2012 OF/IF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Sammamish, WA who attends Eastlake. Salim has a compact and slender build with room for continued strength gains. He is an active defender in the outfield and gets a good read off the bat. As an infielder he shows good footwork and defensive mechanics, and makes plays. Slightly open stance at the plate, and uses a short path to the ball. He stays balanced and has a good finish to his swing. Good student.
