Keaton Vann is a 2011 3B/RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Ft Worth, TX who attends Azle HS. Nice athletic build, good strength potential. Smooth defensive actions at 3B, quick first step, good balance, gets rid of ball well, low release point, throws carry. Right handed hitter, big leg raise trigger, inconsistent timing due to leg raise, shows bat speed, good level swing, extends through the ball, solid line drive contact to all fields, will improve as a hitter with simpler load. Also pitched, easy balanced delivery, repeats well, high 3/4's release, FB to 81 mph, soft curveball, threw strikes. Excellent student.
