Nate Hammel is a 2013 MIF/RHP with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Muskego, WI who attends Muskego HS. Medium, compact frame. Feet show quickness, maintains balance throughout, hands field cleanly. Long arm action with playable arm strength. Arm projects for more. Gets job done defensively, also showed ability in the outfield. Stays inside the ball at the plate, swings hard with contact out front. Middle to right-center field approach with good hand-eye and contact skills. Has strength in hands and wrists, ball comes off well. Also pitched showing a compact arm circle and a fastball consistently 78-81. Short curveball at 66-68 with downer bite, developing feel for changeup. Very good student.
