Ryan Martin is a 2011 RHP/OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Abbotsford, BC who attends Yale Secondary. Martin has a projectable pitcher's build, long and lean with present strength. Unique mechanics and repeats his delivery. High leg kick, leans back and really gets himself going to the plate well. Medium arm circle on backside and comes through with a shorter arm action from a high 3/4 release point. Mixes in an 11-5 curveball with tight spin that he throws for strikes. Effective down in the zone and changing speeds. Good student.
