Alec Mitchell is a 2011 RHP/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Wildwood, MO who attends Westminster Christian Academy. Mitchell has a lean build. He throws from an overhand release, compact arm action, quick arm, straight fastball with slight sink when down, mixes pitched well, 11/5 curveball, shorts slider with solid break, flashed straight change. Also hit, balanced approach, solid strength, looks to pull, ball jumps when centered. Solid student.
