Taylor Blair is a 2013 C/RHP with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Nicholsville, KY who attends Lexington Christian Academy. He has a long, projectable build. Has very good footwork behind the plate, and a quick, clean transfer. He receives very well, and his arm action is short and quick. Loose hands at plate, strong approach with more to come. Has a medium, balanced kick on the mound. The ball comes out clean and he throws downhill. On-line delivery, easy mechanics, very good command. His 11/5 curveball has good break and he throws it for strikes. Currently a better prospect on the mound. Son of ex-ML pitcher Willie Blair.
