Aaron Chouinard is a 2012 LHP/OF with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Swansea, MA who attends Joseph Case. Medium frame with lots of room to fill. Long arm action on the mound with a full back turn start to his delivery. Stabs in back but arm comes thru well. Low effort delivery with good balance and online mechanics. Showed very simple mechanics when throwing from stretch. Fastball sat mid-high 70s, topping at 79. Curveball had 1/7 loose break and flashed depth. Changeup at 72 is a developing third pitch with solid arm action. Right-handed hitter with good contact skills at the plate. Stays on the ball and has bat control. Very good student.
