Manuel Pazos is a 2013 C/MIF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Pace. Strong athletic build, some room to fill. Continued to show well in the infield and behind the plate as he has done in the past, also worked out from the OF and threw 92 mph. Doesn't posses high end speed but it plays up because of good instincts on the bases. Impressed behind the plate with receiving skills and footwork, accurate throws with good carry and solid arm strength. Flashes solid present power with more to come, good leverage in swing, balanced swing, uses lower half well, good bat speed, drives the ball with authority. Good student.

Body works well at catcher position. Quick actions, good feet with low transfer. Quick release with very good arm strength. Velocity and pop times were among best of the event. Lots of potential behind the plate. Hands very good at SS, body moves well, quick release with short arm action with very good arm strength. Strong approach at the plate, quick hands with good bat speed and level swing plane. Aggressive at the plate with good extension.
