Brian Schwarzbach is a 2012 RHP/OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends St. Thomas HS. Nice pitcher's build, loose actions, projects more strength. Fast paced , leg raise delivery, tends to rush at times, cross body release, quick arm circle, extended 3/4's arm slot, arm works well. Mid 80's fastball, tops at 86 mph. 74 mph slider shows some sharpness and depth, good bite, creates a tough angle for right handed hitters, rare change up. Around the zone with all pitches. Low handed approach at the plate, big leg raise trigger, long swing with some occasional power. Very good student.
