William Adams is a 2013 RHP/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Laurinburg, NC who attends Scotland County. Tall, large frame, big strong build. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot, long arm action from low hand separation, compact release. Slider has bite to it with medium depth and diagonal two-plane shape. 11-5 break on curveball with good depth. Online delivery, flashed changeup in warmups but didn't use it in game action, can get more velocity by finishing pitches. Lets the ball travel, solid bat speed, long swing, gets extension, quick bat, comes off well, line drive plane, aggressive hitter with an all fields approach. Very good student.
