Rufus Caruthers: Caruthers is a first class athlete who has very good present strength throughout his body. He has an above average power/speed combination due to his strength and 6.89 speed in the 60. Caruthers showed us the ability to generate very good bat speed with wood and we imagine he definitely can get the metal bat moving quickly through the zone. He carries himself with an athletic confidence, which we like seeing, too. Caruthers also showed us good outfield instincts in getting jumps and taking routes to fly balls.
