Zac Johnson is a 2013 RHP/3B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends St Francis HS. Large projectable athletic frame, lots of room to add strength. Well paced balanced delivery, repeats well, compact arm action with 3/4's arm slot. Fastball to 82 mph, have seen up to 84 mph in the past, good arm side running action, likes to pitch inside with fastball and is aggressive with it. Low 70's curveball with tight spin and sharp 11/5 bite, good pitch with depth. Nice straight change up with good arm speed and deception, could throw change up even more. Has pitchability and competes hard on the mound, can be a solid next level pitcher with additional velocity. Good student.

Pitches from high 3/4 arm slot, long arm action, big takeback, effort to delivery, compact release, mixes his pitches well, good pitchability. 11-5 break on curveball, inconsistent feel but good shape to pitch, shows potential. Aggressive swing, good balance, line drive plane, creates backspin, toe tap trigger, good extension. Very good student.
