Avery Ross is a 2011 LHP/ with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Dahlonega, GA who attends Lumpkin County HS. Nice pitcher's build, some present strength. Multi-part delivery, short arm action, 3/4's release point, some effort, repeats mechanics fairly well. Low 70's fastball topped at 73 mph, will cut fastball at times, big soft curveball at 63 mph has some depth occasionally, needs to work ahead in count more consistently. Very good student.
