2003 Sunshine West Showcase
Pachuca is a 2005 grad who can hit. His bat is the best tool he has and for a 1Bman that is expected. He made all the plays defensively, moves well around the bag showing awareness and can even throw with mid 70's velocity across the diamond on the mark. His bat showed good line drive hitting ability and gap power. He can hit the line drive hard enough to get it through the infield or in the gaps. His swing is efficient and strong at the same time. His tendency to pull off the ball is there, but he did not have problems with that in the games. He showed good quick hands inside the ball and we like the way he is swinging right now for his age. He could be a good player at the next level when his turn comes. Good student.
