Manuel De Jesus is a 2012 OF with a 5-10 147 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Slender young build, minimal present strength. Very good runner, 6.74 in the 60, covers lots of ground in the outfield, good outfield fundamentals, accurate throws with some tail, some developing carry. Left handed hitter, rotational swing, aggressive hitter, looks to hit it hard, pull hitter, tends to hit around the ball, line drive plane. Will improve with additional strength. Good student.

Square stance hitting, contact type approach, stays short to the ball, squares up consistently, lacks strength but hits within himself, leadoff type skills.
