Matt Walker is a 2013 RHP with a 6-5 185 lb. frame from Aledo, TX who attends Aledo HS. Tall slender build, lots of room to fill out. Simple leg raise delivery, short stride, high 3/4's arm slot, full arm circle with some wrap in back, arm has to rush to catch up, effort on release. Fastball to 88 mph, mostly straight. Slider is best pitch, sharp biting action and deep 2-plane shape, gets swing/miss on slider, also throws big breaking downer curveball and change up for other looks. Mixes well and has pitchability. Should improve with additional strength and delivery adjustments. Good student.
