Ricky Faircloth is a slender 5'11" right handed pitcher from Albany, Georgia. He has a long arm stroke in back with a slinging mid ¾ release point. Faircloth falls off to the first base side on release, and with his lower release point ends up creating a slider/cutter like spin on his fastball. When releasing it early, he gets some good running action. His velocity was 68-71 mph. Faircloth also threw a 57-59 mph curveball. He a switch hitter and can play 2B, but he's better as a finesse type pitcher. His best years are still ahead of him.
