Preston Palmeiro is a 2013 3B/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Colleyville, TX who attends Heritage HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength. Left handed hitter, smooth easy swing, low tension, has his father's swing mechanics, quick hands, lets ball travel deep, line drive plane, very projectable swing, bit late getting barrel out against top velocity, will improve with additional strength. 7.39 runner, sound fundamentals and footwork at third base, easy arm action, accurate throws with some projection in arm strength, good feel for moving through the ball. Son of Rafael Palmeiro. Excellent student.

Preston Palmeiro is a 2013 3B/OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Colleyville, TX who attends Heritage HS. Medium athletic build, good present strength. Left handed hitter, reverse toe tap trigger, loads hands, quick strong hands to the ball, really sees the ball well, good bat speed, squares everything up, hits the ball hard to all fields, no problem with high velocity or off speed, confident hitter, gap to gap power at this point. Good footwork at third base, fields through the ball, moves quickly to his left, soft hands, playable present arm strength, similar actions in the outfield. Son of former ML'er Rafael Palmeiro and has his father's hitting hands. Very good student.
