Nevin Wilson is a 2011 LHP with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Chaparral HS. Medium build, good strength potential. Simple leg raise delivery, bit cross body on release, loose quick arm, compact in back, long stride out front, 3/4's release point, live bodied actions off the mound. Mid to upper 80's fastball, topped at 89 mph, gets nice southpaw running action. Hard spinning curveball, sharp late bite, can get CB under right handed hitter's hands. Didn't see change up but has feel for pitching. Might benefit from shorter stride. Quality arm and athlete, good chance to keep improving. Good student. Verbal Arkansas.
