Ryan Nyhagen is a 2011 SS/RHP with a 6'1'', 190 lb. frame from Stoughton, WI who attends Stoughton. Medium build, some present strength. Relaxed hitting approach, late load, line drive swing on the ball a long time, good extension out front, good bat speed, solid line drive contact to all fields, can drive the ball to the RCF gap, hitting tools to develop. Third base tools/actions, some carry to throws, moves well but can improve footwork/balance at the ball. Also pitched, compact arm action, limited use of lower half in delivery, high 3/4's release point, upper 70's fastball, some depth to slurvy curveball. Bat is best tool. Good student.
