Joseph Caraccio is a 2012 RHP/SS with a 6-4 170 lb. frame from Traverse City, MI who attends Traverse City West HS. Slender athletic build, plenty of room to fill out. Two-way prospect. 7.27 runner, moves very athletically for size, good hands and actions defensively, third base future, shows good carry on throws, very good fielder as pitcher as well. Right handed hitter, good weight shift and load, aggressive swing with some present bat speed, projects power with more strength, ball comes off the barrel hard now, confident hitting actions. Fast paced delivery pitching with big leg raise, rushes to the plate, medium arm circle, 3/4's release. Upper 70's fastball, topped at 80, mostly straight, big sweeping curveball best pitch, slows arm on change up. Should keep improving in all areas, good athlete. Good student.
