Joseph Popple is a 2011 RHP/OF with a 6'0'', 176 lb. frame from Downington, PA who attends Downingtown West HS. Young lean body, good length/projection. High 3/4's release, shows good arm speed, arm works well. FB up to 80 mph with arm side run when down in zone, CB shows good spin and some lateness, pitched up in zone frequently. Good athletic ability in the OF, open stance hitting with rotational swing. Should keep improving on the mound.
