McGraw threw 68-73 mph for us with his fastball and did a good job throwing strikes, especially on his arm side. His curveball was 61 mph. We noticed that whether it was swinging the bat, pitching or throwing across the diamond, McGraw did everything with a weak backside that left him doing everything “uphill”. When he starts using his nice 6-0, 185 lb frame to generate some leverage, we’d expect his skills to jump forward quickly. He shows hitting ability and bat speed. He also showed nice hands. Peter is a 3.98 student.
