Peter Mastors is a 2007 MIF/OF that attends Worcester Academy and resides in Narragansett, RI with a 5'10", 165 lb. frame. Peter has an athletic build and showed a solid all-around set of tools. At the plate Peter has an easy swing with quick hands. He can go to the opposite field easily and has a nice approach at the plate. In the field Peter has a quick arm but is a little wild with his throws. His actions are solid and second base looks like a good position for Peter. Peter is a player that will attract the attention of many smaller colleges.

Peter Mastors is a 2007 middle infielder/outfielder from Narragansett, Rhode Island, with a lean build at 5'10", 155 pounds. He hits from a wide base with little or no stride. He has a line drive swing plane with a gap to gap approach. He is a lead-off type hitter with a contact approach. He shows good athletic ability and he ran a 4.66 home to first. Defensively, he showed quick feet with good range. He has a strong arm at 78 mph with accurate throws. He has good all around skills and he has a chance to be a top level prospect for 2006. Peter is also a good student.

Mastors is a 5-9 junior second baseman from Rhode Island with a young and slender body. Mastors’ best tool is his speed and quickness. He’s a 7.0 runner in the 60 and has a quick first step on the bases. With his hitting style and speed, he fits the leadoff/top of the order profile. Mastors hits out of a no load approach with a slashing line drive swing. He showed the ability to both slap the ball the other way and to pull the inside pitch. More core strength will help him to drive the ball better. Defensively, Mastors showed good hands and his speed gave him good range to either side. We like his approach to the game, great attitude. Mastors is a good student.

Peter Mastors is a 2007 second baseman from Narragansett, Rhode Island, with a very athletic body at 5'9",150 lbs. At the plate he has high hands to load, and he square on the ball very well. Mastors is a gap to gap hitter. He was also very productive in the game getting 3 singles and doing a nice job of hitting. Mastors He showed his speed and quickness when he ran a 6.8 in the 60, and he is smart on the base paths. Defensively he showed good hands with very good range. His arm strength was a little short, but it should be expected, for he lives in Rhode Island, a cold weather area, and has not thrown for a couple of months. Mastors has a great deal of upside to his game.
