Williams is an infielder with a good glove and a good bat. He showed nice fielding ability in the workout and in the game, knows the game at 3B well, but might be a better fit at 2B sine his arm plays best there. He ran a respectable 7.19 in the 60 and moves well laterally. His bat was his best tool. He showed a long swing with good bat-speed and finished with a powerful extension high. He had quiet hands and a nice quick trigger to his swing and he hit good pitching. We liked how he challenged pitchers in the games. One at bat, he was hit in the helmet with a wild fastball and then hit the very next pitch 365 feet to the track for a walk in double. He showed a good approach and played the game hard. Good student.
