Shaun Chase is a 2011 C/RHP/1B/3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Desert Vista. Athletic build, good present strength. Aggressive hitting approach, gets extension in swing, ball comes off the bat well, easy lift in swing, will improve with better balance in swing. Good quickness behind the plate, short quick arm action, good release, has a nice feel for the game. 3/4 slot on the mound, long arm circle, good arm speed, armside run on fastball, good spin on 11-5 curveball. Might project the best on the mound. Solid student.
