Mack Brooks is a 2011 RHP with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Gordon, GA who attends Georgia Military Prep School. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Compact arm action, 3/4's release point, has some arm quickness, effort on release, pulls head off the plate. Upper 70's fastball, touched 81 mph, late running life at times, good change up with nice fading action, still working on feel/spin for breaking pitch. Showed good pitchability, threw to spots and competed.

Athletic build, present strength, short clean arm action on the mound, high 3/4 arm slot, good feel for straight change-up, armside run, around the plate, feel for 11 to 5 curveball, easy swing, some present strength, ball jumps on contact, squares up well, fields clean in the infield, ok hands, solid student.
