Will Ross is a 2011 RHP/3B with a 6'1'', 170 lb. frame from Iowa City, IA who attends Iowa City West HS. Medium athletic build, strong lower half. Leg raise delivery, stays over rubber well, high wrap in back, drops to mid 3/4's release point, arm is loose and clean out front. Steady 80-82 mph fastball, big hard tailing action, gets in on RHH's fists. Good spin on downer CB, big shape at times, good arm speed on change with late sink. Command/release point still inconsistent but loose arm with pitches with late life. Should keep improving. Good student.
