Austin Wallace is a 2012 RHP/IF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Kathleen, GA who attends Houston County HS. Wide shouldered build, young look, some projection. Slow paced delivery, accelerates hard to the plate. Primary fastball pitcher, topped out at 91 mph, pitches to the outside half of the plate to both left and right handed hitters. Short slider with occasional good tilt, shows nice fade on change up but rarely throws, needs to mix it up more to create deception. Right handed hitter, rotational swing with some bat speed, likes to get hands extended and lift, 6.96 runner. Very good student.
