Nicholas Rodriguez -- Rodriguez is a junior infielder from Florida with good overall physical strength. He’s a sound fundamental player who looks like he works hard at his game and has had plenty of fundamentals. Rodriguez probably profiles better to second base than third if he can quicken up his feet just a bit, as his bat and arm strength work better there. Rodriguez has a sound approach at the plate, with a no load trigger and good bat speed. He made solid contact to all fields with a line drive mentality. A little more control of his hips and lower half during his swing could generate Rodriguez more power and leverage. He's a good "05" prospect that needs to keep practicing with the wood.

Nicholas is an outfielder with a good accurate arm and he showed some real promise at the plate. He gets the bat through the zone smoothly and fast. He is patient and doesn’t get himself out. Knows what he wants to do at the plate. Nedds to improve his running times just a little. Hard nose player who should keep getting better.].

05 3B with a nice body and some tools. Smooth fielding actions and a loose live arm. Shows bat speed and the ball jumps off his wood bat. Young kid who needs to be followed closely. He's got a chance to be very good.
