2003 South Top Prospect Showcase
As one of the top pitchers and top prospects in the Showcase, Morgan showed an easy 89 mph fastball with a real fast arm. His arm worked good out of a three quarters slot and also produced 2 other MLB quality pitches. His curveball was a sharp one at 75 mph and his change-up was also a very good pitch at 75 mph. He threw nothing but strikes and has a very projectable frame at 6 foot 4 and 180 pounds. He is very impressive on the mound and showed he has athletic ability. He can run and hit! Top pro or college prospect with tons of potential. He has a chance to be a very special professional pitcher down the road. Miles is a good student.
