Brendan Croce is a 2011 RHP with a 6'3'', 230 lb. frame from Hope, RI who attends LaSalle Academy. Big strong build, big frame, tall and strong. Smooth mechanics on the mound, good presence, imposing look, shorter arm action, get good extension out front, tight SL with good sweep, throws with proper arm speed and gets it over for strikes, very effective keeping hitters off balance, good command of FB and offspeed, also mixes in CB. Square stance at the plate, short swing for size, strength in hands and wrists, can drive ball, has hitting tools to continue to develop. Named to Top Prospect Team.
