Ryne Combs is a 2012 LHP/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Bryan Station. Long thin build with room to fill. Quick loose arm, long loose arm action from a high 3/4 slot with an extended release. Works downhill, gets good extension, low effort delivery, good lefty move to first, holds runners well. Shown steady improvement across the board from last year, still has plenty of projection left. 12-6 curveball at 78 mph has good bite. Maintains arm speed on changeup well. Three quality pitches, has upside potential, interesting prospect. Good student. Committed to Louisville.

Ryne Combs is a 2012 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Bryan Station. Still maturing physically, projects to add velocity. Showed a quick arm with clean arm action and a good 1-7 Curveball with some bite to it. Good balance and a strong backside push, showed some command of Fastball but a bit inconsistent at times. Maintained arm speed well on Changeup, all three pitches for strikes. High upside lefty on the mound. Arm looked good in Outfield as well, though his defensive actions were a bit raw there. Has some hitting tools as well. Good student. High level pitching prospect.
