Christian Morris is a 2012 1B/RHP with a 6-5 228 lb. frame from Archer, FL who attends Williston HS. Big strong extra large build, thick lower half. Right handed hitter, deep hand load, weight back and pre-loaded, upper cut swing plane, pull and lift approach, pretty simple swing mechanics, stays inside the ball well for his swing type, can handle the barrel a bit. Limited to first base defensively due to mobility. Also pitches, full slow paced delivery, mid-80's fastball topped out at 87 mph, mostly straight with occasional sink, soft curveball, threw strikes. Has been up to 91 mph in the past. Good student.
