Neff is a 6-3, 165 lb. 2006 left hand hitting catcher from Rancho Cucamonga, California with a tall wirey frame. Neff showed good arm strength throwing 86 mph from the outfield, and he showed versatility by playing nearly every position on the field in games. He is a catcher primarily, defensively he has a quick release with nice footwork. Neff hits from a crouched wide stance and like the ball on the inner half of the plate. Neff showed good patience at the plate, and showed the ability to hit the ball to all fields. With Neff's athleticism and body potential, he is a promising prospect.
