Neff is a middle infielder that projects best at third base. He has better mobility than his 60 time would indicate and his glove played well during infield. His best tool is his hitting ability. He is not big, but with wood he still was capable of hitting the ball to all fields with some good pop. There is some power potential there and he showed the ability to stay inside the ball taking his line drives the other way on the outside pitch and driving the others where they were pitched. Michael is an excellent student.
