Arnoldo Valido is a 2006, 5'7-140 C from Miami, FL who attends St Brendan HS. He has a lean build with good muscle tone. Valido can flat out hit. He is a line drive hitter with a wide stance and a short swing. He likes the ball down in the zone and stays behind it very well. He makes consistent contact and drives the ball to both gaps. Arnoldo will hit for a high average wherever he plays. Valido has very good catching mechanics as well. His numbers are a little deceiving since he did hurt his shoulder earlier in the workout. Arnoldo is a tough defensive catcher who works hard and has good potential.
