Deonte Williams is a 2012 OF/3B with a 5-11 205 lb. frame from Hopewell, PA who attends Hopewell. Very athletic player with present strength and more room to fill out. Drifts to ball in the outfield. Short, choppy steps on approach. High slot, throws uphill from the outfield with loose arm action. Runs well, ran 6.97 sixty in June at Sunshine Northeast Showcase. Solid infield skills during games with instincts and playable arm strength. Open, high back elbow approach at the plate. Hits from a wide base. Aggressive swing with bat speed. Ball comes off the bat well. Will benefit from better balance and more extension.
