Hunter Anglin is a 2013 RHP/3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Gainesville, GA who attends Gainesville HS. Medium build with strong lower half. Drop and drive delivery, accelerates to the plate, 3/4's arm slot, arm is quick and works well, repeats mechanics. Fastball to 83 mph with very good run/sink, have seen up to 87 last summer. Very good change up, maintains arm speed with late sink, slider and is sharp and consistent with some 2-plane bite and depth. Really mixes well, attacks hitters, plus pitchability, can be successful at the next level in the mid 80's. Right handed hitter, effort swing, has some raw strength and bat speed, occasional mid field lift, power approach and will run into some. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
