Robert Pehl is a 2011 3B/P with a 6'1'', 205 lb. frame from Chehalis, WA who attends WF West. Big frame, sloped shoulders, athletic look. Moves well at 3B, good reactions and instincts, keeps ball in front, hands and feet work. Narrow setup at plate, slightly closed stance, quiet in box, throws bathead well and gets his arms extended, hit well in games. On the mound he shows good armspeed, his ability to throw his 10-4 breaking ball from the same release point and with the same armspeed as his fastball kept hitters off balance against him, he will lower arm slot on his fastball at times and gets good arm side run from there, has arm strength and the velocity projects, good follow for the spring. Very good student.
