John Kresta is a 2012 C/RHP with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Flower Mound, TX who attends Flower Mound HS. Solid athletic build, long torso, very good present strength. Outstanding throwing arm, clean exchange, 1.94 best pop time, receives ball well, will have to improve footwork and foot quickness. Right handed hitter, upper body rotational swing, limited lower half use, looks to pull and lift, gets good extension, falls off and tends to hit from his heals, finds the barrel, can improve with adjustments. Didn't pitch but has been up to 86 mph in the past when his catcher velo's were 79-81. Arm is a potential weapon.
