Dylan Silva is a 2012 LHP/1B with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Lake Worth, FL who attends American Heritage HS. Strong well proportioned mature build. Full delivery with good pace, extended long arm action, 3/4's release point, repeats delivery mechanics very well. Upper 80's fastball, big arm side running action, touched 90 mph. Hard curveball with good bite and depth, hitters didn't recognize curveball at all, poor swings if any against it, nice fade to change up with good arm speed. Nothing straight and threw the ball to spots. Struck out 7 hitters in 2 innings, including 4 Perfect Game All Americans. Extremely impressive performance. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida State.
