Matthew Paculan is a 2010 OF/SS with a 5'8'', 150 lb. frame from Mississauga, ON who attends St Francis Xavier HS. Smaller frame with some present strength. Good runner, 6.90 in the 60, quick actions, gets to the ball in the OF, exaggerated crow hop slows release, accurate throws. Aggressive rotational swing, hard line drive contact in games, will get long/big at times, best when short to the ball, shows some bat speed, aggressive player for the leadoff role.
